The Office of Risk Management & Insurance of the University of Minnesota is responsible for management of the following types of insurance: Workers Compensation, Property, Professional Liability, Automobile Liability, Non-Profit Organizational Liability and General Liability. In addition to these primary types of insurance there are numerous miscellaneous insurance needs that are managed through this office. Two methods are utilized to manage the University's risk; self-insurance and the commercial market place. The procedures for each line of insurance are detailed within this site.
